Early October

Mid-October
- It's a great time to plant citrus and deciduous fruit trees!
- Ryegrass Winter Lawns - it's time to lay your ryegrass seed package
- Last chance for warm-weather veggies like tomatoes and peppers
Late-October
- It's time to plant cold crop veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce and kale
- Plant and enjoy fall flowers like pansies, snapdragons, geraniums and much more!

October Planting Calendar
Plant the following edibles from 10/1 - 10/14:
- Seeds: Beets, bok choy, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, chard, collard greens, endive, kale, kohlrabi, head and leaf lettuces, leek, mustard, bulb and green onions, parsnips, peas, radishes, rutabagas, spinach, and turnips
- Transplants: Broccoli, Brussel sprouts, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, cauliflower, celery, chard, and head and leaf lettuces
- Sets: Garlic
Plant the following edibles from 10/15 - 10/31:
