It is unusually hardy compared to other Hydrangea macrophylla, even in zone 4 climate. The flowers grow up to 8″ in diameter, with pink blooms in alkaline soils & blue blooms in acidic soil. Since Endless Summer® blooms on new wood, removal of spent flowers will encourage re-bloom. Green foliage turns bronze in fall. The plant grows 3-5′ in width & height, making it an excellent choice as a border plant to define boundaries or planting areas, a foundation planting, or to provide a backdrop for other flowering plants.

Very large lacecap blooms stand tall, supported by strong, extra thick stems. Flowers will be blue in acidic soils, and more pink in neutral to alkaline soils. Compact mounded form is ideal for borders. Serrated leaves show touches of red and burgundy in the sun, as they age. An exclusive Monrovia 2017 introduction. Deciduous. Quickly reaches 3 ft. tall and wide.

'Enziandom' is part of the mophead group. It is a compact, deciduous shrub with a rounded habit which typically grows to 3-4' tall. By reputation, this is one of the best of the deep blue hydrangeas. However, flower color becomes pinkish when soil pH rises above 6.5 and deep pink in fully alkaline soils. Dark green foliage turns attractive shades of copper to dark red in autumn. 'Enziandom' means gentian in German in reference to the deep gentian blue color which is intended for this cultivar. Grows 3 to 4 ft. tall and 3 to 4 ft. wide.
