Why bareroot pre-packaged roses?

Bareroot plants may seem a strange option at first, but notably in our moderate climate, they have multiple advantages.

It starts with the roots. Establishing strong root systems for young plants is essential to their health. Bareroot plants that go into the ground during dormancy (the slowing of their systems with cold weather) suffer less transplant shock. Though the weather may be cold, soil temperatures remain warmer allowing roots to slowly acclimate through even the coldest temps. Then when the weather warms, it signals the plants to start their normal spring processes, giving them a head start with established roots.

Another advantage of bareroot roses is the huge selection we have to offer.  The plants take up less space for us, allowing us to bring in more and a greater for selection for you!  Plus, they are light, and easy to transport for everyone.
